John Frieda are a celebrated haircare brand, best known for their Sheer Blonde and Frizz Ease ranges. Working as a part of their SEO content strategy team, I ran successful blogger outreach campaigns, increasing awareness of the brand while boosting the number of links coming into their site.
Bloggers are extremely influential in today’s digital landscape. Using a contact base built up through personal blogging, social media usage and previous projects – with the added help of Gorkana, and a number of vigorous Google searches – I was able to pull together a database of prospects meeting the right criteria for a John Frieda SEO outreach project. Using a friendly and chatty approach – always highlighting the numerous benefits of using John Frieda – I was able to secure links across a high number of online publications, without need for payment. In less than a year I gained a total domain authority of 1068 linking back to the website, making some new friends along the way.
